Haematology is the branch of medicine that deals with the study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of blood-related disorders. it covers a wide range of conditions such as anemia, clotting disorders, leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) is a specialized procedure within haematology used to treat certain cancers and severe blood disorders. It involves replacing damaged or diseased bone marrow with healthy stem cells, which can regenerate new bone marrow and restore normal blood cell production. BMT can be autologous (using the patient's own cells) or allogenic (using doner cells).
